AI workflow audits · fixed fee · SMB
Stop guessing where AI belongs in your business.
VALARSEN finds the workflows worth improving, estimates what they’re costing you, and determines whether AI, traditional automation, existing software used better, process redesign, or no change at all is the right move. Sometimes our recommendation is: don’t buy anything.
- Fixed-fee audits from $250–$750
- Written recommendations
- No implementation obligation
Does this sound familiar?
The shape of the problem, before we ever name the fix.
If any of these describes a working day in your business, you are the right person to read on. The audit is built around the symptoms owners tend to notice before they reach for a tool. Most of these can be solved without ever buying a new system — that is one of the verdicts the audit is happy to return.
Manual work
We re-enter or copy paste information between tools several times before it lands where it needs to.
Disconnected software
Our CRM, billing and scheduling tools don’t share data, so we reconcile them by hand.
Slow response
Customer inquiries sit in a queue long enough that we hear about the lost one before the reply goes out.
What you receive
Three pieces of paper, written in plain English.
Every audit lands as one print-ready page and an opportunity scorecard. Deep Dive adds a worked ROI model. View the full sample report before booking.

A one-page workflow map
How work enters, who touches it, where it stalls.
A single print-ready page that maps every step from intake to invoice, with the bottleneck drawn in. Most owners spot the friction on their own within five minutes of reading it.
A scored opportunity list
Six dimensions. One verdict per recommendation.
Every candidate fix is rated on impact, feasibility, risk, ROI, technology fit, and system compatibility. Items include "leave it alone" — an audit that recommends the do-nothing option is not a sales pitch. Sometimes our recommendation is: don’t buy anything.
A worked ROI model on Deep Dive
Hours, payback, cost-of-doing-nothing — on the top tier only.
On the Deep Dive tier, the report includes a worked ROI model per recommendation: hours per quarter, payback window expressed in months, and the running cost of leaving the workflow as it is. Essentials and Standard deliver the workflow map and the scored list — the worked figures are a Deep Dive add-on.

The honesty clause
Sometimes the
answer is no.
An audit that recommends AI everywhere isn’t an audit, it’s a sales pitch.
The recommendation can be AI, traditional automation (rules engines, scheduled jobs, scripted handoffs), existing software used better, process redesign (clearer handoffs, CRM hygiene), or no change at all. Many of the recommendations are “do nothing — tighten what you have.” A common alternative is a non-AI automation to revisit later, or never. If, on the call, the report tells you not to bring in AI, that is a complete deliverable — it is also the reason you would have hired us in the first place.
If we are not a fit, we’ll say so on the call.
Start your audit. Walk away with the report, even if we’re not the right people to act on it.
The interview is the brief. Sometimes our recommendation is: don’t buy anything. If, on the call, the honest answer is “you don’t need an audit, you need to fix your CRM first,” we will tell you. The fixed fee is only charged after the report is delivered and you confirm it is what you wanted.
